New LRV runs on Manila Line MRT3
On 6 May, a new train made by CRRC Dalian Co. left North Avenue MRT Station and put into operation on Manila Line MRT3. Senior officials in Philippines are pleased to ride the train experience. On 28 April, CRRC Ziyang Co. signed a contract with TPI Polene (TPIPL), Thailand for supply 4 narrow gauge AC diesel locomotives. This is the third time for CRRC Ziyang to cooperate with TPI Polene. The first time is in 1992 for 4 locomotives and the second time is in 2013 for 8 locomotives. Up to now, the total contract number is 16 locomotives.

On 15 April, 2016, CRRC Corporation Limited signed a contract with Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for supply 846 new railcars. CRRC Chairman Cui Dianguo and Vice-President Yu Weiping attended the ceremony. The prototype cars are scheduled for delivery in 2019, and are expected to be in service the following year.
